Chiara Vecchiarelli
Philosopher and Curator
Chiara Vecchiarell is a philosopher and curator whose recent research and writing explore the ontogenetic dimension of the image and of artistic practice. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the École normale supérieure in Paris and in Visual Culture from the Università Iuav di Venezia. Vecchiarelli teaches philosophy of art, aesthetics, and general philosophy at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and at Sorbonne Université. She has been a curatorial researcher for documenta, is a member of Philo-FR, and serves on the editorial board of Oboe – Journal on Biennials and Other Exhibitions.
