For this impulse, we have invited Prof Dr Wolfgang Wahlster, one of the leading minds in the field of artificial intelligence. He was the founding director and CEO of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), a prominent research institution founded in 1988. Since 2003, Prof Wahlster has been a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, responsible for awarding the Nobel Prizes in Physics and Chemistry. In 2001, he was awarded the German Future Prize by the then German President and in 2019 the Grand Federal Cross of Merit for his achievements in the research of artificial intelligence.
