Drawing on artistic research into labour migration, memory and the politics of the body, Minh Duc Pham develops questions about how norms, care and resistance become visible in material cultures and everyday gestures. His practice explores these connections at the intersections of gender, race and class. Installative and performative interventions combine archival material with speculation, creating moments of productive ambivalence in which collective narratives are renegotiated.
His work has been shown at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin; the Kunsthalle Osnabrück; the Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig; the Stadtmuseum Dresden; the Radialsystem, Berlin; HAU Hebbel am Ufer, Berlin.
